An rfid based door lock with cyclops as display. The circuit of this project uses three separate parts namely a reader a controller and door lock. It s very important to authenticate the user before entering into a secure space and rfid provide this solution. Just thought of making a password based door lock system in which you can enter the password via the keypad.

This rfid door lock can be made easily at your home and you can install it in any door. This circuit is mainly used for an interfacing of rfid reader with an arduino. In countries like india such automatic systems are not cheap by any yardstick. User can go for certain number of wrong combinations before the system will be temporarily disabled.

A digital door locking system is also implemented and governed by rfid reader which authenticate and validate the user and open the door automatically. An rfid based door lock is based on some simple concepts. When we see sophisticated door management system s the price tag struck immediately along with the utility of course. This project can be enhanced by connecting an lcd display to display the outputs.

First the user combination will be compared with prerecorded password which are stored in the system memory. This allows the user to lock unlock his home s door lock by using a smartphone from anywhere in the world. So we decided to test a simple and cheap prototype to see if such a robust system could be developed using the tool of our choice arduino uno. We store a set of rfid card data in our system say 3 or 10 rfid card data.

The cyclops eyes will turn red on wrong rfid tag and green on authorized rfid tag. It also keeps the record of check in and check out of the user. This automatic password based lock system will give user more secure way of locking unlocking system. You have seen rfid door lock mechanism in some hotels and other places where you don t need a key to unlock the room.

Here nodemcu will act as the main controller and connect the user to the door lock system using the internet. You are given a card and you just need to put it in front of a rfid reader box and the lock gets unlocked with a beep and a blink of led.
